Intelligent Transport Systems in the United Kingdom

Doing some research into Intelligent Transport Systems in the United Kingdom for an application and was wondering what you guys knew of this subject?

Also would be interesting to know what new features recent cars have in terms of safety, emissions, and health (surprisingly)

Any help would be great!

Ha! well my main concern is looking at developing a system to lower congestion, time spent in cars, emissions.

This is good stuff, specially the terminal 5 pods

Im looking at systems that are in cars and for roadsides that increase safety or lower congestion etc etc
