So my K10 needs fixing cause my dad backed into it. £485 is the quote, I think I'm right in thinking that his insurance company will end up making me some measly offer and probably be arses about selling the car back to me - Hence me making barely anything and just having to repair it myself (with my dad paying for parts and paints etc).

Am I best of just repairing it ASAP and not ####ing about waiting for insurance companies to #### about?

if theres no damage to the company car just yours and hes willing to pay for it himself i dont see why not

Yeah that's right.

And he WILL be paying for the parts, no worrying about that lol!

Well, I definately wouldn't use insurance..

dont use insureres, a £485 repair on a £300 car will right it off, they will probably give you £200 and let you keep the car and then you will have a claim.

if he will pay for the parts, let him pay.
