insulating car doors

Hi

Ive bought some space blanket insulation thinking that it would stop the vibration from my speakers in the front of my car. Now ive got them in the car I don't know if its dangerous in that the glass fibre mineral is harmful. Should i remove it?

if its sealed up then you'll be fine, but if glass fibres gets airbourne its pretty dirty stuff

where exactly is it? on the inside of the outer door skins?

It on the inside of the door cards. I removed the cards and peeled away the weather proofing plastic sheet (I hate that chewing gum seal it has). I then filled the gaps with the material making sure the windows could still shut.

Ive removed the stuff now though because it seemed very dusty and not very healthy in the car. Im now left with £10 of Space blanket now lol.
