Ignition Problems

Sunday Night I hit a bump in the road (big bump) which almost sent me and my SS flying!

the car cut out and has never started since. there is no spark basically. I've had the coil tested and its fine. there is 12V from the coil when a wires are taken off the Minus side but when there put back on it shorts (small sparks from it).

Any one got an idea what it could be?

check your earth lead from the battery to the two points on the car (one on the engine - one on the body) i had a similar problem on my old k10.....

will do mate, I've replaced the ignition coil and the destributor and i still have the same problem

weird thing was I changed the Dizzy and it fired up,

drove it up my street after letting it warm up and it cut out and aint started since.

I clean the battery earth to the body and engine and there was no change.
