ICV problem?

Right first proper question!

starting the car from stone cold in the morning or if its been standing a while is soooooper lumpy and wants to cut out, now i understand that the coilpack motors dont run waxstats on the throttle bodies (correct?)

at first start it'll stutter at around 700- 980 rpm and drop as low as 560 until it starts to warm up, touch the trottle and it wants to die and dont dare try to drive off as it'll be a lumpy as feck

once it gets to about 80-95 F* 26-35 c* in old money and the intake temp is roughly 50 F* or 10 C* it starts to even out and sits at about 1.2k rpm then gradually comes down, all this has been checked with the obd2 live reader that i have in the car and it hasnt flagged up a fault code since i reset the ecu (battery off and hold the terminals together)

Any ideas?
