I think I messed up the electric...

Hi guys,

I've been a proud '89 Nissan Micra owner for two days now, and I think I managed it to mess up the wiring. The Radio in the Micra was crappy, so I installed a new one, the previous owner already installed several gadgets, and seemed to have only one color of wire.

The result for me is now that everything is working except:

• Hazzard lights broken
• Horn not working
• Windshield whipers as well

They all did work before I installed the new radio....

What is your best guess? Which cable is missing (is it only one cable, maybe?)

check your fuses, its more than likely blown

did you use stereo adaptor cables or did you cut the the cables?

horn, hazard, radio & interior light are all on the same fuse so check it and make sure it isn't loose.

and if the fuse is ok, check the main fuse inside the engine bay! I had the same problem when I blew mine

Did you use stereo adaptor cables or did you cut the the cables?

I did buy some adaptor-cable-kit, but it was pretty much useless since only had loose cables and not a plug as soon as I removed the old radio. Some strange wiring now, but at least the radio does work ...

Will check this right now. Did not know they were all on the same one...

EDIT: 3 fuses were blow, thanks guys...
