Horn wont sound

Im rather stumped. Ive got my twin horns wired up as normal. When I sound it nothing happens. The relay triggers I can hear it fire, power ends up at the other end but the horns dont sound.

If I pull the clip off and just touch it the horn sounds (to my shock lol) The horns work, I know that. I just cant understand why it wont sound on command. I have sanded down the connections and made a jumper from the wire to the horn with the same result so its not the connection.

I did spray the horns red so it may be why, anyone know if any connections sit under the horn itself which would disable the horn sounding? I also tried another horn which did not work either?!

yeah.. relay clicks.. fuse is fine.

Its the plugs or horns..

Red rox my sox. Ill take the horns apart later. looked at some new flashy ones though.. might be an option
