hmm engine on its way out ???

recently when i start my car from cold i get this noise for a while bit like tisp tisp tisp tisp ect sorry thats the best way i can explain it what could it be and is it likely i should be looking to give a heart transplant ??

Does it sound rattly for a few seconds then quiet down £

Umm well until it warms up so like a few mins sounds rough as when I'm sat at the traffic lights 300m up the road also when I was under the bonnet the otherday it sounded like there may have been a slight knocking when you rev a little and generally rough

sounds like tappets maybe ?

Brilliant lol might just buy a 1.3 rather then repair this engine
