some of my problems seem to be these files, how do you get into them to access them and delete them?

HKCR, HKCU, HKLM are all registry settings.

HKCR = HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
HKCU = HKEY_CURRENT_USER
HKLM = HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

These are accessible by going to start, run

type: regedit

press ok

be aware that editing the registry and cause you really to send your computer to poo mountain!

finally managed to locate all the files giving me grief and that was that sorted but still giving me grief, then doloaded firefox, cleaned the temp internet files and it seems to have sorted itself out, computer is clean as a whistle me thinks
