find this file?

c:\System Volume Information\_restore.....

I ran a spyware scan and ive got quite a bit of the stuff in these type files, how do i find and destroy them

type it in search n find it n delete it

the file name for each is extremely long + there is about 100 of them

Could bring up a dos prompt and type
cd\
cd c:\system~1\
dir _restore*
see what you get listed... dont really know what your trying to do though.

go into system on control panel and disable system restore, then use the disk cleanup wizard thing to delete all previous restore points, then turn system restore back on again if you wish (imo its a waste of hard disk space anyway)
