help just bought my 3rd micra its a 52 1.0l presume 16v tempest had it 2 days and the side lights not working keep popping fuses is this a common fault and what causes it iv sussed its not the wiring to either corner but seems to lie with the fuse board area but cant get at it without either taking out fuse board or dash any help would be gratefully recieved as my next step seems to be dash board removal !! cheers by the way i have just fitted a new cd player was ok till then !!

thanks very much mate been on with car all day the problem was a yellow wire from stereo connection when tested is earth (lights turned off) but is in fact a live to radio to dim the display when lights are turned on simply put yellow wire into a connector to isolate and re earth stereo again cheers so the moral is be carefull when putting a non standard stereo in
