Help Buy a Micra

Hello everyone,

I very novice in having/buying cars.

I had a Nissan Micra 1.3 GX 1998 which is about to be scraped due an accident. I loved the car. This was my 2nd car and Passed mu driving on it 3 months ago.

Now I found another one. This is 02 plate with 1348cc which is classed(?!) as 1.4. it has 63k on odometer and had 1 previous owner.

How shall pay for it and what shall I look for.

Any help is appreciated.

Very many thanks for pointing me to the thread. Unfortunately I don't know match of the car jargon etc so it was very difficult for me to absorb enough to help me. The checklist posted by pollyp is really impressive. Unfortunately it is not much help since I don't know am I looking for apart from the obvious such as the rust. I wold be nice if someone could revise that list with options such that one know what to look for and what the symptoms and what are the acceptable and what is very bad. For instance when looking for rust it has to rest free
