Hi all.

Just got back from the first show day and what a day it was, superb weather, not a bad stand location at all, great show and very well organised and everyone made it as well lol!

I'll update more when I come back tomorrow, a tad tired right now. Just got in home after we met up to grab a bite to eat and go bowling in the evening.

Here's some images of the show so far, including my new replacement for the corolla lol!

cool, glad to hear it went well. the weather has been fantastic this weekend.

looks good guys wish i could be there to see that amazing mondeo in the flesh. lol  Ill be there next year on the stand but cars an embarressment at the mo!

did anyone see Rik on the track on saturday in his K12?

He did pretty good if you ask me. He was holding off a silver evo in the bends for a good few laps and then later on the replica 2fast 2furious evo as well.

Also noticed a red k11 going round the track with black nismo wheels on...you didnt to bad yourself!

Looks like you had great weather for it :) I'll be at Modified Nationals, JAE and the JapShow Finale.

Good pictures....check these out though.

I'd be so gutted :(

Absolute *%$&£'s!! The Scum of this nation never cease to amaze me. I was at York Raceway last year, it was hot and I was in my mates Efini RX-7, it's running big hp so gets very hot so we put the bonnet up, whilst we were queuing to get back on the strip, we lef the car for a MAXIMUM for 2 minutes to grab a burger from the stand, came back and someone had stolen the chrome oil cap! Also at Santa Pod, was in my mates Civic, came back to it to fine someone had stolen ONE side repeater. You'd think at the race track you would rid yourself of most of the scum that go to the major car shows...but no.

Yeah thats why our club always stick together, never leave a car or campsite alone. fortunatly there are quite a few of us so plenty of people willing to help.

hey guys, good meet! cheers for organising it Kev. Nice to see some familiar faces, & get some more ideas for the car.

Really shocked about that subaru, there were quite a few chavs around but didnt expect to hear of that happening. The donington owners or event organisers really need to improve a few things, like entering and leaving, stand signing etc.

Bowling was excellent fun, & the drive back was highly amusing. look foward to seeing all the pics Nex.

Was a great weekend. Glad the weather stayed nice as it was raining last year! Bowling was a right laugh and will be looking forward to the pics also from Nex!! :)

Roll on JAE :D

My face is red through sun burn.
I am de-hydrated due to sun.....and possible drinking alcohol since 8 (no I wasn't driving)

I'm gonna have an early night tonight, I'm exhausted!!!
It was a really good meet, shame I couldn't bring my car there!! Drifting was amazing, so many amazing cars.

Donny was full of a lot of scum so not too shocked about the Subaru.

JAE should be better so i'm looking forward to that, did hate some of the "comments" some of the cars got!!! SCUM!!!

Was wicked, many thanks to Kev for organising this!!!!!

woohoooo.
what a how, my first national MSC meet, and my first donny.

very happy to have met you all, even if i did end up almost passing out whilst bowling, (dehidration)

my car was amaizing on the track, i was out braking skyline GTR's and pulsars into the shicane and held off an astra GSI turbo mk3 for nearly 3/4's a lap (he was well peeved) but my crowning acchievment, was the top speed coming into the old hairpin..

after talking to a guy with a 300bhp+ pulsar, he was doing approx 90mph into the old hairpin......... and he was shocked to find out that not only was i doing it at 110mph, but that i couold actulay corner that fast or that it could even go that fast..lol

i was getting all sorts of looks from chavs in their saxo's and 106's when i was queing up.... but not one of them said anything when i cam off.... YES JOB DONE

cant wait to see piccies..lol back from bowling was a blast...

and as for that subaru, i cant believe it, i mean how long does it take to strip a subaru of wheels, headlights, side lights, tail lights, side repeaters and even the turbo and inlet manifold for that matter?..........
i think its na wind up i realy do.... i mean after al, it took kev 10 minutes to figure out he could get the headlight out of his escort..lol

I spoke to Ralph (Nex) on the phone, as we were supposed to meet up about my car, and he forgot to tell me he was in Donny this weekend, he said that he was in the queue to get in (at 10am) and that he was too late to put his car on the stand lololol

yeah Nex was a little late but managed to get it in in the end. Nice to meet you Antony, just a bummer we were leaving as you went on the track, would love to have seen that.

Yeah Ant, nice to meet you! Agree it would have been good to see you on the track. How much did you have to pay for it anyway?

Hey peeps,

What a great meet, nice to meet you all again! Bowling was excellant, thanks to Kev for organising that!! Sorry to hear about the Subaru, pikey scum! Theres always a minority that has to ruin it for everyone else.

The highlight for me was the drifting, that was just awesome. Hopefully next year there will be a few more micra's there, roll on JAE!!!!

Nis.

Thanks to everyone for yet another awesome Donny, with yet another load of hilarious bowling antics! I have tons of pics (and some vids of drifting). I'll upload the pics now and the vids later... (Apologies for the poor quality of the pics, my phone doesn't have a great camera)

yeah, was a shame. should have seen it, the looks on their faces.. haha

and yeah two runs before me there was a very nice looking black k12 on the track that wasnt being caught by anything.....cool

and i didnt pay anything for the track time..... infact i made a tenner out of it,
i went to the BP ultimate stand to ask for directions to sign up for track time and i won a competition for two lots of 30mins track time, so i sold one for a tenner and went on..haha

I think so Ed.

I would also like to thank eveyone who attended that gave me a stress free weekend with the event running so smoothly!

We also had for this year proffesionally laser printed flyers that were much better then previous years ones, I will have these for JAE also.

I have spoken to and agreed with a company called One Off Sound to come on board as an official club sponsor who can supply interior / exterior styling, ICE and lots more too. I will update more with this when it's arranged properly. This company should be very useful for MSC members for lots of products.

All in all a very succesfull Donny weekend, now onto organising JAE.

Thanks
Kev

Wow check out the K11 lean, like the ST, makes it really unstable on a track.

woohoooo.
and as for that subaru, i cant believe it...i think its na wind up i realy do.... i mean after al, it took kev 10 minutes to figure out he could get the headlight out of his escort..lol
Remember that the scum don't care about the car so they can just rip the parts off and worry about the fittings later..even if the parts are too damaged they've still lost nothing.

Just read on that same forum that one lad had his alloy oil cap stolen whilst he was sat at the rear of his own car looking the other way at donny!!!

Really pleased everyone had a good time tho.

Looks like u lot had loads of fun!

My mates went up to this with our local crusie club called "street-stylers-southwest" did u see the stand they had?

my mates said they saw james 1.4 turbo k11 and the msc stand!

I can see why James kept his bonnet shut alot of the time if thieving pikey's are going to just nick bits off cars! So many people were interested in his k11 turbo, you should have seen how many kept looking through the bonnet vent & front mesh to see what was under there!

Right, here's a few i took. I'l stick the rest up later
