heat comeing out of the heater unit

lol i know that the title sounds daft as that is generaly what a heater does generates heat

But on my car and on my gf car (we botha have the 1.4 last k11 model ) when we have the heater dials set to off and havnt had them turned on there is still quite a bit of heat coming out of the heater

what could this be is this normal or not as i dont think it is is it hjust excess heat off the engine (bearing in mind my gf doesnt rag her car like i do )

any ideas guys ????? ken

If the heater switch is still turned to hot this is normal.

Air will still flow slowly through the intake and pass through the heater matrix.

Mine does it too it's normal Ken.

Just slide them closed or set it to cold. Should do the trick
