Head Gasket Problems

I recently replaced my head gasket and once everything was reassembled i started the car and everything appeared to work fine.
However when i checked my oil the next day it was full of water droplets meaning the head gasket did not seal properly.

I disassembled everything today, examined the gasket, and could not find the problem.

Does anyone know what could cause a head gasket to not seal properly or why this may have happened?

you might have a bit of distortion on the face of the head, either get it skimmed or clean up the face on a sheet of plate glass and some grinding paste.
and i usually pull the headbolts down then leave it overnight then back each bolt off 1/2 a turn then retorque it (they tend to go another 1/8 of a turn or so then) :)
