Hard to change to Gear 1 or Reverse

Recently my gearbox is getting harder and harder to switch to Gear 1 (stiff) or Reverse Gear (not always success). Could anyone advise what might be the problem and should I bring the car back to the dealer to do a full check on the gear box? Last time my dealer told me that that would be around 200quids since they need to drain the gear box oil out and refill it afterward.

Couldnt give you a precise answer but it sounds like the k11 gearboxes normally (cant remember if the 1.0s are the same in the k12). If you absolutely sure these problems have got worse in a certain period of time then it might be best to check it out but it just sounds like a problem that doesnt get worse, you just notice it more and assume its about to break I only say that as i have had many a similar experience. Also dont forget, whoever the dealer is they are'nt going to turn down the work if they can extract £200 from you to scratch their heads.
