FUEL filter

DOES 2013 1.2 petrol k13 . is yhere petrol filter under the bonnett ????? or is it in pump in rear on this model ????.

There is no serviceable fuel filter to replace on the petrol engines, however, I understand there is a 'filter sock' on the pump inlet which is a 'for life' unit.

TROUBLE that if it is in pump unit top fuel tanck under rear seats & gets blocked , could cause pump to fail / no start . KEEP thhat in mine .

Your understanding is wrong.... a fuel filter (typically under the car or in the engine bay on older Nissan's) is fitted AFTER the pump to protect the injectors, not the fuel pump.

Pick up socks are there to stop anything going through the tank pump that could cause it harm so the situation has not changed in terms of pump protection.
