I can't get the offside brake light and fog light to work

The fog light comes up on the dash but doesn't work. I've tried swapping the bulbs over but no luck. The side light works but not the brake filament.
I've tried spraying the wires with WD40 and tried wiggling them.
The fog light used to work but stopped working after I started messing to try and get the brake light working. The indicator stopped working and one point as well.
The brake light would sometimes work after slamming the boot.
Any ideas?
