just fitting windows from my super s wreck to my LX, what a nightmare!!, so I thought I'd post this thread in case anyone else trys it. First of all u need all the following items.

1 popout windows
2 both trims from both sides from SuperS with little hinges and latch covers (circled)
3 rear seat seatbelt bolts (longer with longer spacer)
4 super s window rubbers

now to the fitting part, this is where it gets tricky as the LX doesn't have the threads and holes that the supers has. first of all u will need to purchase some plastic push in plugs (supercheap $3.40 pack 6) u need 8 altogether, the hinge ones just push in to existing square holes, the rear latch ones have to be drilled and filed out square. The trims are the hard ones, I used clear plastic to make templates to transfer the position of the holes from the super s to the LX (4 square holes front trim, under window, 2 square and 1 round for rear trim), this has to be done carefully as u only get 1 shot. I done the rectangle holes by drilling holes at either end and then using a jigsaw to cut the middles out. now my LX accepts popout windows

just wanted to re-bump this helpful thread incase anyone is interested in doing this, although I did it a bit simpler as I'm not fussed with trim/aesthetics of it on the inside. This meant I didnt need to drill any of the trim holes needed, and also for the rear latch, rather than drilling the holes and filing square I just used self tapping screws.

Thanks again Rudy

p.s. anyone interested in this don't forget to source the window rubbers along with the windows as I first did...
