hi i remember a post from a while back about you 2 replacing the frontend of the chassis on a k11 micra
ive looked all over and cant find it just wondering if you could get me the pics and any advice as i will very soon be doing this

quite easy really, gets easier each time, got another one to do, reckon I can do in under 3 hours.

exactly what i was looking for
where did you get the front ends from and how much?
i would imagine the ones in scrapyards would be far too rusted to use

i stripped off my front end to take alook today and it is really bad so i need to do this soon

Sel Imperial is only place I know of, I got mine off Kristian.

If you're doing it yourself make sure you do have a whole day at least, plenty of tools and grinding discs.
I've had to modify the "T bar" bit, the centre bar that meets the bonnet latch needs a bit of cutting to fit right.

Patching would be more hassle IMO

new frontend is best option and you'd have more peace of mind

150 supplied and fitted..

will take one whole day..

bear in mind.. this might seem a lot for a new cross member.. but this is the FULL front end INC top slam panel and headlight surrounds... Id would be more value for money if your car had some minor crash damage or the front panels dont line up 100%.. as it will cure the LOT..
