ive got a performance backbox on my k11 but i still think its a bit quiet, just wonderedif there is any way of making it louder but not illegal and obviously pass an mot!

not much you can do. A Janspeed Manifold, but you may not pass the MOT, very doubtful without a re-map.

Do you have a cone air filter on? That adds a bit of sound.

Does it have one of those nuts on it to adjust the tone?

its advised you keep then, just incase,

why dont you get a wider cat mid pipe and try a different back box if you just want volume?

i've got a bigger mid pipe going into a HKS back box, must be about 2" thick pipe then 4" for the back box and thats pretty f'ing loud...

dont forget your janspeed is more performance orientated than it is audio....

i guess it'd be worth going to the scrapies or exhaust garages and having a rummage through thier off cuts?

they,re all basicly the same bore benji (tho some brands are slightly different) some have a different size cherry bomb in the midpipe, and some dont have one at all , you could fit a coilpack k11 midpipe if you want to remove the 2nd cat and make it louder (longer midpipe, as in the pic)

yeh, i took it off a 1.4 and fitted it to my misses,s 1.0, (she,s got a 40mm custom/bitsa system now tho)
