Has anyone on here ever put a motorbike engine into a k11? If so how did it go and what problems did you have, cheers,

from what I understand, you just use MB engine and gearbox, mount it all in a frame in engine bay then you have to sort out a diff and chain drive from gb to diff. Then you got to sort out a gear selector linkage and selector mechanism (sequential gear stick?), clutch linkage, throttle, exhaust and then after all that you don't have reverse gear.

Ill be getting an electric 1 geared reverse, I think ill have to so it will pass an MOT, also putting engine in back of car and RWD,
if its going in the boot can you not just use a rear axle with a sprocket welded to it, sort of like a quadbike?

I'd imagine you'd need to upgrade the clutch to cope with the extra weight

Yeah I'm gunna have to make an axel ect,
should be a laugh, gonna keep all the cooling in the front and use a fuel cell?

Yeah cooling ect in front also want to fabricate a boot where the old bonnet was, for two spare tyres and anything else I would need on a journey, engine will hopefully be a hayabusa gsxr 1300, can't wait to start the conversion on the engine but have a house move in the mean time, doing bits as and when I get the time, unfortunately with a family it's not as much as I'd like but can't complain, lol
