ECU error code

Hi everybody!
I'm new in this forum, I read a lot of topics, but I didn't found an answer to my micra's idle problem: is there an easy way to read the ECU error code with some simple or self-made tools?

what's the symtoms?

You can get the ECU to flash the error codes out via the check engine light on the dash.
Or you can connect a computer to the consult port & read them.

The symptoms "were" an instable idle and rattle at low rpm. I fixed re-soldering the six joints in the box of the throttle body... it seems it works!!!!
