eccs self diagnostics on facelift

hi
i have a 98 facelift, and was wantin to use the self diagnostics function on the eccs, i understand that u put a wire across 2 terminals on the plug in the fuse compartment, but wheres the light that flashes? is it the light on the dash thats next to the aircon switch or is that just for nats?

The engine management light will flash the code in like,

one flash... one flash...one flash....one flash....one flash

then, one flash,one flash,one flash,one flash, one flash

That would be the code "55" which means theres nowt wrong.

Its the yellow/orange light with an engine on it. Seen on start up which then goes off.
