Easy fix for broken fan..? (Only works on top speed)

Hey, just bought my first micra, it seems to be a decent car but has a few minor problems.. I've heard the fan only working on top speed is a common problem - anyone know how/if this can be fixed?

a small heater resistor card in the passenger foot well, removal by 2x10mm bolts and identified by a brown plug.

they are repairable if your good but you can get a new one from Nissan for £40 which is what i done

easy, just use a demister repair kit

hehe that what i was about to write because i did not know that you wrote on here already. but yea pollyp is correct because that what he told me what to do and it is also a cheaper version than buying a brand new resistor card.
