Differences in distributor?

Hi guys,

I'm wondering if there are any differences in the distributors on the CG10 and CG13 ones?

How many different types are there? Or all are universal fit? Can the JDM ones fit on the UKDM ones????

There are at least 3 different distributors on earlier JDM K11, using at least two different plugs. They all fit in the head the same, but you might have some wiring to do.

How abt the Nismo distributor for k11? Anyone heard abt it?

I've seen a Nismo distributor with 5 socket outlet at the cap. Any idea how to wire such distributor up to a cg13 engine? Help needed here...

5 sockets probably means there is an external coil?

So find the coil wires that normally connect internally & run them to the external coil.

I had one of these, Nismo made an adaptor, that made it possible to fit a different distributor.. I can probably dig up what the dizzy was from.
The March Cup adaptor you could make yourself if you were handy.
And yes it was designed to fit a dizzy that used an external coil.
There is/was pics on the site of gtrholics march cup setup, he had one as well..

Any ideas how to wire it up correctly? Seemed like the distributor only has one plug, unlike the normal ones we have on the CG distributor which comes with 2 plugs (a 2 wire and 4 wire one)..
