Hey there fellas, i have just replaced the clutch on my car, first time front wheel drive, and now i am trying to put the CV's back in place.

Problem i am having is with re-seating the steering arm (passenger side) into, the housing on the gear box and getting to seat into the gear. Hints or help would be greatly appreciated.

I know it should be easy but i haven't done this type of this for many many years.

Thanks in advance for help

I read from that you're trying to get the passenger side inner CV back into the gearbox.
There is a ring clip around the splined shaft.
You should be able to push the CV into the box, rotate it to get the spline lined up & easily push it about 12mm until it comes up on the ring clip.
At this point you can either use the half shaft as something like a slide happer, or if you've dusassembled the inner CV, place a block of wood over the end of the cup & hammer it in the rest of the way.
