Custom carb manifold

Ive been chatting with friends about motorbike carbs on a car. It seems like a really good idea but the problem is the inlet manifold. Getting 1 custom made would cost loads, so im just wanting to know if anyone else has done this before and if it has what manifold did they use. :grinning:

Speak to Bobsp16 on here, he does autograss racing and has made up a variety of manifolds for the K10. He might be able to sort you out something.

There are companies that do it too, but you'l need to send off an existing inlet one, they cut parts of it off, and we weld something up with the carbs attached. you'l need to get the carbs set up etc correctly for the car too

Hayabusa is fuel injected. Also bikes rev a lot harder than your average k10 so you will need smaller carbs than you think.

ive seen 2.0l 16v cars (ford zetec, vauxhall xe etc...) on gsxr 600 and gsxr 750 carbs making 200 bhp on the rolling road at aldon automotive in stourbridge (west midlands)

Hyabusa are also 50mm ID - way too large for a Micra engine, they're more suited to VTEC integ's

the custom manifolds with the motorbikes carbs i got a quote for £250 and tuned up just have to fit your self is this a good price and would it be wise to fit a custom exhaust manifold
