stumbled across the spec of the fabled 101hp alpha engine
10:1 C/R
236deg 8.32mm lift inlet cam (CG13 and CGA 222deg 7.46mm lift)
214deg 7.05mm lift ex cam (CG13 and CGA 222deg 7.46mm lift)
valve timings 3/53/33/1 (CG3 and CGA 0/42/42/0)

i wonder why they went for a milder (than stock) exhaust cam ? fwn

mad those cam timings are terrible for performance! Amazing it made 101bhp!

Sounds like a pretty little fun motor.

it just shows how well a CG responds to a better inlet cam and an improved ex manifold (but retaining the 1st cat)
