i've a carburettor that i suspect has been subject to a serious level of stripdown and re-assembly.it has two transparrent replacement vacuum tubeson it...(one is the vacuum linkage between primary and secondary throttle diaphragm......the other is the vacuum brake to the cold starting control diphragm).....Theres a bead with a jet squished down into one of the tubes (the cold start circuit)...the other tube has no jet......
me reckons that this jet is in the wrong tube......anyone fancy fondling their car vac tubes to find where their stock jet-bead is fitted?
