Bulbs for clocks

Hi guys.

My new Micra has absolutely no light in the intrument cluster.
I know the type of bulps used, but how many of each size do I need? 5W and 1,2W.

I could take it apart to check, but I'd prefer to pick the bulbs up on my way home and fix it tonight.

Have you checked a fuse? Seems odd that all have stopped working..?

Not yet. Good idea.

No fuses blown. All 5 bulbs changed, and it works fine now. I guess they have just gradually given up, and the previous owner just did othing...

So now I know: Facelift Micra with digital instruments use 5 x 1,2W socketless bulbs (what are they called in english?) for lighting up the instruments.

Nope, they're T5's or 286. Same thing.

501s are for number plate, sidelights and heater dials.

The "big" 5W bulbs used in some cars are these specs:
17138 - TU 501 E1 W5W 12V W2,1X9,5D GE BL2B MIH

The small 1.2W bulbs I needed were these:
Some places called T5 1.2W, others just call them W1.2W...
