Brake pads

Looking to buy new brake pads, looking at Mintex and EBC, which would be the better option to go for?

i wouldnt worry about going for expensive pads if your using it for day to day to use. I have Apec pads from my local motor factors, which were dead cheap, but are excellent! Halfords pads are very over priced.

what's the average price for them? Is £20 for mintex or EBC too much?

personally ebc, i have them in my k10 and they are great, if you can afford get green stuff.

Which 1's wear down quicker? Greenstuff or Redstuff?

urm that i dont know im gonna gues green stuff?

but they are for different useses, red stuff would be swaying more toward track days and heavier breaking

Just looked on a website and Redstuff pads last longer than Greenstuff.

Or you could just avoid the unnecessary expenditure and get standard ones, unless your planning on uprating the disks & calipers too! Remember, K10's are light. They don't need big name brake pads to make it stop any better, when motor factor ones would suffice!
