Anti roll bar bushes. Cheap homemade rear Whiteline 22mm

While my anti roll bar has been between cars I somehow seem to have misplaced its mounting bushes. After faffing around trying to enlarge the hole in stock ones from 16mm to 22mm with no real success a friend suggested I try using a piece of this 18mm i.d steam pipe he had lying around. Works quite well and save aproximately £20 and 2 weeks of waiting for genuine whiteline ones.

Yes, those long bolts are nearly always corroded so stiff it's too much effort to wind them out, that's all the WD40 from fighting with them. The nuts were cut off and replaced with something new.
OMP sumpguard visible against the wall.

nice tip
dont get pollyp started.
he'll make a full under car gaurd and claim its added to aerodynamics :)

:) i did have a thought few yrs back of making a full undertray but the trapped heat, disrupted engine bay airflow and hassle of removing the panels to access the bits would put me off

No, it's WD40. I bought the pair on ebay I think. They are Whiteline ones. A bit of a kill actually 'cos I haven't seen any since.
