Air filters/mods and general fettling

So.... I was wondering what if any a performance air filter has over the original airbox?
Also are there any mods I can do to the existing setup that will improve either power or economy in a 96 k11 s 1.0...

K&N filter, pipercross, green cotton? To name a few.
I stick to a £8 trusty paper filter in a GA16 airbox.

Power or economy? Unlikely you'll get both

I've got a HKS green cotton pod filter hooked up to with samco hoses and stainless steel piping. No real performance gain to be honest, It's a bit perkier at the top end but that's it.

The noise factor is awesome though

On a 1.0 I wouldn't play unless you got a pressure reg to go with, ended up too flat spoty for me o.o
