As im modding my micra on the cheap rather than spending money on a K&N i want to drill the airbox just for the noise. Will this make any problems with the engine.
You want to drill it at the bottom, before the filter. It'll give you a nice roar, it will suck in some warm air but not it's not really going to hamper performance. Don't worry, it won't cause any problems.
