Advantages of light flywheel k10

i think somebody said on here, maybe paul smith or in one of his threads, for every kg taken off its like taking 30 kg off the car weight! might be wrong though! also helps the car the "rev up" more freely
 
Stock or heavier flywheel is good for keeping constant road speeds...(better economy)

lightened suits application where there is lots of accelerating then braking then accelerating again...etc....or drag racing where there is only acceleration
 
I think he means the revs won't be moving around as much with a heavier fly, so its easier to cruise along - and if the revs are constant, it would use less fuel. You could probably maintain steady revs/speed, but it's easier with a standard fly.
