Adding a tachometer for a '89 Cdn spec

Ok, I've searched and searched but my coil set up seems different. It is an odd electronic thing. The wires seem to different colours than the UK 1.2L set up as well. Mine is a Canadian spec car. So I want to take into the neg coil but which wire. Black seems safe but all I have is Black/White but looking for a second opinion. Thoughts? Thanks.

I know from the German Micras, that you have to take the red/white one... but you have no red/white one .

I think it is the blue wire

Odd that my wiring is different than the German or UK ones.

No, you have about 4 different looms used in the k10s... well, at least. Sometimes I think they used different wire colours in every k10

Thats the same setup as the eec uk models. When I get back from work today ill have a look at mine

i would say the blue wire as well. if not it will be the green one.

Btw. just to say it, the signal wire on my aftermarket tachometer was blue as well

It is definitely the blue wire. Never got to it yet as sadly the garage doing my mandatory safety inspection has buggered up my Micra. Spark plug will not fire. Slowly replacing the whole ignition system.

On my canadian K10 one wire on the coil key on will have 12V and the other wire is what i put my tack into as its the trigger
