i get what you say - but this was an inbetween car i only paid 300 for it and got a years worth out of it. i was only gonna get it going so i can MOT it and sell it on, not sure its worth geting a new head and chain plus the work envolved doing it.

still broken :( right, i have changed the coil and it has not worked, gave the selector a good wiggle up and down - nothing. i still think its spark related but i dont think its the leads or cap cos the car cut out while i was driving and it wouldnt do that - and it would probs start again just...

right,dint go as planned. Iv managed to removed the two bolts securing the dizzy to the head and loosend the clamp but i cant get the dizzy of - this maybe because the rotar arm is still on, because i still cant remove it, i assume this screw is on the side i cant get to, any ideas??? Cheers, mike

O carp, well iv just bought a new coil :( to the tune of £50 :o ahh well ill just have to remove the dizzy thenthe coil and put the old dizzy back :) cheers for the info guys. p.s no breakers around me have any micras that i can use and a nissan breaker wanted £50 plus postage and VAT...
