Do a full service, oil, air and fuel filter. Spark plugs and leads. And probably worth doing the drive belt/s as matter of course, check brake pads and discs for wear - check power steering and brake fluid and coolant are all topped up and not fowled with water ingress etc (blown gaskets, leaks...

I too have wondered about the crankcase vent... Mostly I wonder if not having them running into the airbox helps performance as you haven't got hot manky air spoiling your otherwise nice cold feed? There's a lot of banter about induction kits and panel filters but not much I have seen on...
