    Lowered springs

I don't know where you are from but I know 'Industrial Springs' in Adelaide can reset any spring to whatever height you want. I am pretty sure they custom make springs too. Mind you for the cost and the hassle I would look at coil overs. BC (what I had in my K11) are great and cost $1100...

    What nissan should have made!!!

I agree with the weight issue. THe new Mazda 2 was the first car apparently in about 10 years that was actually smaller and lighter than its predecessor! Then look at cars like the corolla - they started life as featherweights and models like the KE70 are literally tiny...yet the new 2010 model...

How does one go about making clear head light covers for the k11

Okay if you really want to waste some time and money...haha... I used to work for one of the global OEM's that make them for all major manufacturers. Quality OEM ones are all vacuum formed thermoplastic - generally a material called ABS. Polycarbonate is also sometimes used. What happens when...

    lowering / coil chopping

Don't chop springs!!! obviously they are illegal and they are potentially dangerous. Keep saving your dollars and buy a pair of lowered springs to the height you want, they are faily cheap...or ask around here and someone will probably have a set of kings or something lowered they want to sell.

    My new wheels - Booya!

Thanks guys!! I am a bit proud of the car now, haha. It's funny cos now my wife keeps wanting to drive it. I'm pretty sure the offset is 38. How much have I dropped it?!? Not sure exactly cos I didn't measure it beforehand, but it is around 50-60mm. When I put the coil-overs in I took a stab...

    My new wheels - Booya!

Well now I'm pretty happy with the little beast, picked up some new rims the other day and they suit oh-so-well. I'm absolutely stoked with the fitment. They are oxwheel 15x7 inch rim with 195/45. Picked them up for a steal. The 7 inch rim fits almost flush so it looks a treat and I've already...

Difference in Bumpers - Standard Vs Super S

Awesome guys, thanks for the info! That would also explain why they bolt up exactly the same but the mudflaps don't fit due to the lower portion being slightly different. You'd think that Nissan would have created a more distinct rear bar for the Super S since it is different anyway. Meh.

Difference in Bumpers - Standard Vs Super S

Yeah they are colour coded. All I really know is that the Super S rear mud flaps (moulded) don't fit on the standard bar as it leaves a noticable gap. I should have said... the reason I asked is I had a mark (small gouge) on my rear bar so had it replaced and resprayed but the crash shop put on...

Difference in Bumpers - Standard Vs Super S

G'day, Obviously the front bar is different between the garden variety and the Super S. (I couldn't find any info in the forums) What is the difference between the rear bar standard Vs Super S? I thought they were the same but now believe the Super S comes slightly further out, but does...

Super S Driving Lights - change to fog setup?

OK cool, looks like I might have to head to an auto electrician and get some rewiring done. I'll do most emchanical stuff myself, but electrics are not my cup of tea. I'm kind of in two minds - I'll either rig them up as independant lights so I can choose when they are on...or I will remove...

Super S Driving Lights - change to fog setup?

I drive a Super S so I have the driving lights in the front bar, however they are only operational when I use high beam, so they are in fact just a high beam. I was wondering if anyone knows how to convert them into a fog light, whereby they can be switched on without the high beam, and even...

    suspension

I agree sikK11. It also depends on what your intent is. Mine is a fun daily driver/commuter. I don't expect it to out handle a GTR on the track, nor do I expect to push it to the limits very often at all. Having said that, I have heard from reputable sources that BC Racinig products are indeed...

I will put my vote in for BC Racing coilovers through www.justjap.com.au I am VERY impressed with them, excellent quality, fully rebuildable and a great price deliverered for $1100. A superb ride, quite compliant and yet still very stiff. THey also go very low.

    Custom Nolothane Bushes

I have found some bushes online for a good price and they seem like the right stuff. www.stores.ebay.com.au/strong-flex-eu__W0QQ_sidZ910679114?_nkw=nissan My question now is...are the rear trailing arm bushes the same for upper and lower??

Wheel Bearings and Steering Rack Q's

Cheers guys. Has anyone bought one of these eBay jobs? It's tempting at that price. Also, is the super s rack (not power steering) different to the LX or SLX? I called Grand Nissan and they found 2 part numbers.
