Has anyone heard about modifying the engine of an n-cvt auto? I have a one litre and would rather not have the hassel of swapping to a manual, I like the car but i want it to be better lol. If it can be cheaply modded to the equivalent of a 1.3 civic all the better :) thanks ben

did nissan ever produce alloys that came with the micra's as standard for the uk? from a higher model etc. just wondered if it was a possibility, get some cheap from scrappers and spray them black =]

Hi I might be looking for a aftermarket back box and was wondering about the difficulty of fitment, main difficulty as I can see is the last curve before the box, would a new box be a straight swap or would there be some pipe cutting? And also has anyone heard of it on a n-cvt auto? Thanks

why would i have to change the head etc if i was planning on doing a straight swap? is it a matter of clearence? or just easier insurance? the plan was for the 1.4 for slightly more bhp then a 1.3 civic. so if i ended up changing the head would that affect the performance much?

Just had a random thought earlier, anyone heard of supercharging/ turboing a ncvt auto? As soon as turbo span up would you have max boost through to max speed? Correct me if I am wrong, just would be funny no gear change etc.

I have a yr 2000 micra that is a 1l n-cvt auto, but I am 18 and it's not cool for me lol. Would you be able to put a 1.4 manual on same mountings? And how difficult would it be to change the log book and difference in price for insurance? I am from uk. It's either this or by a civic lol thanks

I have a knocking sound quite regularly, I looked underneath and noticed my exhaust was very low. It's almost touching what I am guessing is the anti roll bar. The rubber mounts are there but the mounts are missing on the exhaust. How would I go about replacing the metal parts?

Just been around the car swinging on it and no noticeable movement from things being loose. After spending 200 quid to replace a rear axle that rusted through I am pretty reluctant to spend anymore money on it. If it brakes I will fix it.

Not so long ago I heard some noises from the front left, I also got noises when turning. Which have recently been rectified by replacing cv joint. It is still making a sound as if something is slipping. Occasionally when coming to brake I hear a knocking and can only hope it's the same problem...
