Hi can anyone tell me if it is possible to change the ignition key barrel, if so how, or is this a locksmith job. Mine is playing up sometimes unlocks the steering but will not turn enough to start.I Put some WD40 in the lock which has helped but I think it needs changing

Thanks to dens and Frank for your advice . Think i might just take the top cover off and have a look for now because its not that noisy .

Hi any one know if the noisy timing chain on my K11 can be quietened without major surgery ie maybe just renew the tensioner. Can this be done just by removing the top cover plate ?

Does anyone know if the timing chain on 95 K11 becomes a bit noisy . Can the top cover be removed and the tensioner renewed . Or is it engine removal and renew whole chain
