Are there any advantages/disadvantages to removing the original air box pipe on a 1.0l so that the air box just sits with a hole in the side? Bearing in mind conditions in the UK, is this gonna affect the warm air feed? Also, any ideas on getting the damn thing off?!

I agree, it looks top but keep it away from prying eyes! I've noticed though that your shelf is starting to bow. Mine does this, but not to the same extent. Might want to run a section of square timber along the back edge to help support it and keep it flat.

Haha, those 2 ^ pics are just ridiculously low!! I'd only be looking at about a 35mm drop so nothing too drastic. Well, in the UK every other road has a pot holes or speed humps on it so you just can't go that low! The original pic I posted doesn't even look that low?! And yeh, the dibble...

On the topic of photo-shops, hows about these that my mate did of my micra?!

I'm thinking about putting a small(ish) amp and sub in my micra, probably about 200 Watts and and 8/10 inch sub, or somwthing. Was just wondering where's the best place to take your 12V for the amp and the easiet ways to mount them/fasten them down in the boot of a micra? Any help is great, thanks.

^^As for the sub, it just depends how big your box is and what way up you mount it.

I used 12mm MDF, mounted some 6x9s and then carpeted the whole lot. Just looks like a factory shelf as i mounted the 6x9s on the underside of the MDF and carpeted right across the whole thing so it lies flat.
