1.0 Carb rebuild kit & Manual Choke?

Guys, I had a play over the weekend and I've got the auto choke working. I took the back plate off and it seems it was placed on wrong last time, so I let it warm up and behold... A working choke. HOWEVER... My problem isn't solved, in fact it's worse! Cold starts it tries very hard to cut out...

1.0 Carb rebuild kit & Manual Choke?

I think the only solution to this is to get your car onto a dyno with and without. It will show the ever so slight decrease in lag if its the case :)

Haha, I was joking. They wouldn't be any use with a turbo though, surely? I'm in the process of (slowly) building a compound charged rover T16 engine, If i put one of these electric superchargers on all I can see if it being eaten by the engine lol. I'll give it a go over the weekend, cheers...

K10s: Still cheap to run in 2013?

The Micra is by far the cheapest car I've ever ran, Cost me £370 and its near immaculate. Insurance is under £500 a year and the parts are lube free. Cost me £40 for a complete new exhaust, Under £5 for a cam belt etc... For me its my daily and my weekend car is a Rover BRM, which is also...

    Front engine mount

I've never heard of doing that with bushes lol. Does it actually work? I'd prefer to replace them for new if they're still available, it's a lovely car in original condition so I'd quite like to keep it that way, rather than bodging it :)

    Gearbox Woes

Cheers Guys! I hadn't thought of the tracking, but come to think about it... it is out by a mile so thats probably it! Such a fun car to drive, A few years back a friend had a k11 1.0 and it was brilliant, but i've always fancied one of the 10's. Not bad for a car I found unseen off eBay...

    Gearbox Woes

Hi All New here! I've just got back from a purchase of a lovely K10 Colette, its the 1.0 and she's in stunning condition. It drove faultlessly on the way home, which was over 100 mile, considering the car hasn't been used much in the last 3 years (300 mile!) About a mile away from...
