Its only a small amount of rust at the bottom, water seems to have got into the rubber seal through a small gap and caused some rust, about the size of a 10p piece to appear. To cure it properly needs the screen out. Might just leave it, its not my car LOL

How easy is it to remove the rear glass on these cars? Do you need special tools? G/f's Micra Vibe has a tiny bit of rust and wants it sorting.

OK, when fitting alarms, which wire have you used for the door open which would set of the alarm. In the drivers door switch there are 3. Anyone??

Bought a rclick alarm and fitted it at the weekend on my girlfriend's Micra Vibe 1997. All seems to work ok, apart from when the drivers door is opened, it sets of the indicaters. Anyone had a similar problem? Reading through the manual it should do this when the doors are not closed properly...

Done 90 in the misses Vibe, TBH would n't want to go any faster in it.

The interior light switch has 3 wires (see above) the alarm has 2 wires a negative switch wire and apositive switch wire. Just wondering do i need both wires or just one. The alarm works with the central locking ok though.

Does the Micra Vibe 1997 need a positive door switch wire or negative? Also which wire is what? Theres 3 wires on the door switch Red and white (i think this is the permament live) Red and (another colour, can't remember) Green Need to know so i can connect a wire from a Rclick alarm...
