    PS. The picture is not generic, those are the parts present on my ceiling (and in my office) at the moment...There is no manifold included, the pipe with flange positioned 'just below' the turbo in the picture is the downpipe from the turbo. /T

    Re turbo kit I've bought one of these 2 months ago (The system without the box for relocating the battery, STD price 989$ or so) - bid 765$ 'just to try' and 'won the auction'. So anyone wanting such kit should try getting it for about 600$ or less and see what happens. Quality seems OK...

    Thanks for the input. As I have grasped it, its not bad 'to run below (to the right of) the surge line' - but if one has to go to 'a too' high rpm to get below the surge line - then its bad. If 'too little a part' of the useable power band is to the right of the surge line, e.g. only from 4500...

    Thanks. I might give Ed another try - it would be great just to have an additional stock ECU which was modded to swap with. Thanks for your comment regarding 1/2 bar and not needing to lower compression - I think you're right.

    Yep. The T3 is at least physically huge. I have understood that at low boost it should work though. Are there 'presets maps' up for grasp/'laying around' for the E manage system working in a turbocharged system similar to the one I will install?

    Hi Instead of adapting an extra standard manifold which I already have by welding a T3 flange on to it etc - I wonder if a CG13DE -> T3 turbo flange 'turbo manifold' can be found - does anyone know or have (a used) one for sale? /T
