manual 5 speed job! if it aint he fluid it may want a new box :wasntme: goes into gear fine then every noy and then just dont go in any gear. Reverse crunches in. Linkage has no real play in there, new clutch under 12 months ago..... so try fluid next! engine oil DOH lol Only just...

Firstly, I had no manula with my micra. Done a few jobs on my other car today so while the tools where out, the micra went up on axle stand s to look at the gear linkage........ :glare: Nothing seams a miss. So next step i think ill change the tranny fluid, as it finds the gears, just...

thanks! its clean and hoovered etc, engine bay tidied up and gear linkage adjusted....... few jobs to do though! dipsticks been snapped off and its jammed in! no idea of oil level :o engine before 3 mins of work....... engine 3 mins later..... note the bumper is cleaner...

It'll be alot tidier after it meets mr dyson today and its freiends, Mr Bucket and maddam Sponge! :girly: Its FILTHY! :wasntme: engine bay wants a brush up and the dipstick fixing lol, it came off in my hand!

Hi, just picked up a 97 1.0S and the gear linkage appears to be loose. Is it an easy job? This was a free car so dont really wanna spend cash on it! lol :wasntme:

The micra I have just aquired had a new clutch last year aparently and doesnt pop into gear very well. Is the gear linkage an easy overhall?

I just picked up for free this morning a 1.0 micra s 3 door, tax till april mot till sept! Not bad, needs a few jobs on it! 1st.... gear linkage! :k11green:
