Any one fitted one of these on a 98 micra k11 ? I want a roar to the engine without having to put a new exhaust system on.. The chrome trim looks good but no roar.. So.. will a Induction kit air filter give that roar ? and can a novice like me fit one without to much fuss ? Cheers J

Ive had this same problem... but it was also bringing on the enigine check light.. Goes to fire but sounds like engine flooded and wouldnt start.. I changed fuul filter, plugs, new fuse box next to battery.. still no joy. Took it to a mate of mine who is the dogs Balls... he was baffled but...

It's def not fanbelt.. sound isnt coming from that direction.. only when i oull off in 1st gear as biting point on clutch comes... intermittent at present not everytime i pull off... weird and concerning

Problem solved (or so it seems). Faulty ignition switch..

p.s as far as i can tell clutch isnt slipping at all.

Noticed for the first time today that theres a strange sqeaking noise from what i presume is the clutch.. Only happens occasionally when pulling off in 1st gear.Sounds also like its a scrapping squeak.. And just where the biting point is.The slower i pull off the worse it is.Faster i pull off...

Took battery terminals off for 30 mins (as have done b4) malfunction light as should be and car fires 1st time and keeps running.. doesnt miss a heart beat.. come 2mor same problem will be back.. had a look at the main engine fuse box.. it has no cover.Not over dirty or corroded but doesnt look...
