Have you looked under the inside of a rocker cover when you take it off? I've got to get at the spark plug seals and there seems to be no way to pull the plate off which is holding them in. apart from drilling the little rivet like things.

While we're at it... how the fudge do i get the cover off on the underside of the rocker cover. I heard it was hard... and now I find no screw holes.... Im not drilling out all these things am I?

Anyone use gasket sealant with new rocker cover gaskets? I wasnt going to but the old one had heaps of the stuff... making me think someone tried to reuse an old gasket? Which is why it was leaking/needing replacement?

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but having this same problem. Ordered a cam cover gasket thinking it'd have the spark plug seals on the cam cover gasket. Now spark plug #1 is full of oil, are these gaskets I need to buy or can I use gasket goo? Anyone have these gaskets for sale? Part numbers...

Buy some sb barina rear shocks and matiz rear springs. Put that in the rear but you'll need to grind some of the shock lower bush tube cause its too wide to fit in the stock micra. I cut the standard springs on front shocks so its just captive and its a good height now. Don't waste any more...

I dunno, there's one place I might have to visit. ill give them a shot tomorrow. Alloy as far as I know, e30 bmw bottlecap wheels.

Nah there's a big 8 sided nut thing on the top of the matiz strut which won't even fit in the strut top hole... going to have to swap the tops :( another day....

****! Going to put the matiz struts in and they dont fit in the micra strut standard holes. any tips on removing the micra top hats? Ill need a spring compressor now right? On my way to the shop :(

Don't have a press to get the bush out. I'll go to a suspension joint to see if someone will have a smaller sleeve to go in. Also, since the shocks aren't the shorter stroke and I *cough* forgot *cough* to put in the bump stop it rattles around like crazy, will fix this on Friday. Seems like...
