Engine mods have been removing CG10 (98500 miles) and replacing it with a CG13 (with 45000 miles on the clock)
K&N 57i Induction Kit
Maniflow 4-2-1 Manifold with Janspeed Rally Exhaust System.
Got a set of Piper fast road cams waiting to go in.
Will be getting a full re-map with the aid of...
ANd then why not add something just a little bit different!!!
In car Karaoke!
Still need to do a bit of tidying up on the whole thing but getting there!!
After getting bored I decided to work on the ICE!
Thought what better way than installing a PC into my glove box, so I did!
1.5GHZ, 512MB Ram, 60GB HDD, Windows 2000 :) sweet ICE!
Faird,
The rear brake sensing valve is located underneath the car towards the passenger side.
It looks similar to a mini shock absorber with a spring round the outside, with some metal pipes going to and from it.
This is going back on my memory when I had to work on mine in september.
WHat...
Alessandro, Maniflow Manifold will not wit with Air-Con, neither will Janspeed.
You will either need a custom one, or I think there is an option in Japan for a manifold that will fit around air-con, but not certain on that!
Well anyone wants anything give me a shout and I'll see what I can get hold of, I can go to 4 local scrap yards (within 20-30 KMs) and probably find more than 20 Micras! Mainly K11s with the odd K10 and K12
Well I was lucky, mine had only ceased rather than completly gone wrong.
Ouch....roughly £250 if my currency conversion is any good!
Over here I would have just gone to the scrapyard to find 1!
I think the non-nats ECUs were from the early K11 Pre 94 I think. Sadly the NATS to Non-NATS is not a straight swap, I had to get the wires moved all around for it to work.
To get an ECU re-programmed I would probably say that would have to be a Nissan jobby.
If you changed the ECU you would need to get the key re-programmed to match the new ECU.
Basically your car would just turn over but wouldn't start as the immobiliser wouldn't be de-activated!
When my immobiliser went wrong I had my friend fit an older ECU from a non-nats K11, so now my car is...
I know when my rear brake valve ceased on my car, I soaked it in WD40 for 3 days and all was good.
This may not help, but it's the only thing I can say on the subject.
